A can lid with a safety opening edge, and belongs to the technical field of manufacturing a can having a tabbed lid which can be opened by tearing. Protuberances (4, 9, 15, 16, 21) are formed at the peripheral portion of an openable lid member (1, 10, 19, 20, 22) by folding a plate material. Accordingly, when the can lid is opened by tearing, the opened portions (7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 17a, 18a) prove to be harmless. Moreover, the power required to open the can lid can be saved. |
