<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently assemble a double-wall bottom block of a ship, by a method wherein reverse U-shaped guide rails are placed between assembling sections, reversely transferring devices are provided, and a jointed member consisting of surfacing member and longitudinal members and a jointed member consisting of the facing member, the longitudinal members and spacing members are reversely transferred. CONSTITUTION:The reverse U-shaped guide rails 21, 48, 57 are provided between the assembling sections 6, 8, 9, and reversing trucks capable of moving along the guided rail 21, 48, 57 are provided, thereby constituting the reversely transferring devices. In the assembling section 6, the longitudinal members 3 are supplied onto the facing material 7 by a conveyor 17 and are jointed to the material 7. In the assembling section 8, the jointed body obtained in the section 6 is reversely transferred along the guide rail 21 onto the spacing members 5 supplied by a conveyor 14, and are jointed to the member 5. The jointed body consisting of the surfacing material 7, the longitudinal members 13 and the spacing members 5 is reversely transferred along the guide rail 48 and is fed to the assembling section 9. Then, a jointed body consisting of the facing material 7 and the longitudinal members 3 is transferred along the guide rail 57, and the double-walled bottom block of the ship is assembled.</p> |
