In order to green relatively large areas of upright walls, e.g. house facades, in a simple and decorative manner with climbing and/or hanging plants, a climbing framework is provided for these plants, which consists of two assemblages of bars (6) in horizontal x axes and vertical z axes, which are held by coupling pieces (3a) which are supported at a distance from the wall by fastening elements, e.g. wall anchors. In this case, the arrangement is made in such a manner that the x and z axes of the bars (6) intersect the y axes of the fastening elements which form the fixed points, arranged in a grid, on the wall. At different side and height positions, the climbing framework bears plant supports (5) which are in each case fastened on two horizontal adjacent coupling pieces (3a). Apart from the bars (6), frames with lattices (7) can also be connected to the coupling pieces (3a) as an additional climbing framework. <IMAGE> |
