<p>The applicator cylinder (2) can be driven in both rotation directions. In order to coat the material web (1) using a counter-rotating system a spreader cylinder is applied to the applicator cylinder (6). In this way it is possible to draw off the liquid film (1) from the same reservoir zone (5) as with a concomitantly-rotating system. This saves displacing the metering cylinder (4) which remains in situ during both counter and concomitant rotation.</p> |
