Locking device for a swivelling discharge pipe (2) of a crop gathering machine, in particular a combine harvester, having a catch (44) which can be swung or rotated out of its position securing the discharge pipe in a transport position to the combine harvester into an unlocking position by way of a lever (30) in the form of a linkage (34) and mounted to be swingable about its longitudinal axis by rotating the lever about this axis, characterised in that the lever (30) can be swung about a vertical axis (14) on the discharge pipe (2) out of a position actuating the catch (44) by the rotation about its longitudinal axis into a position in which it serves as an adjusting means for swivelling the discharge pipe into a working position, and in the region of the vertical axis the lever (30) has a driver portion (38) for shifting the catch (44), the driver portion being accommodated in a guide provided in the catch so as to be freely movable therein.
