<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pigment compsn. with improved fluidity, storage stability, and film luster when used in a water pigment compsn., by incorporating one or more of biuret, particular urea and thiourea derivative compds. CONSTITUTION:0.1-20pts.wt. one or more of biuret, compds. of formula I (wherein R1, R2 are H, lower alkyl, or phenyl optionally substituted by carbamide, alkyl, alkoxy, or dialkylamino), and compds. of formula II (wherein n is 2-6) are incorporated in 100pts.wt. pigment. Biuret used can be readily obtained by heating urea prepd. in large quantities technically. Compds. of formula I include 5-methylhydantoin, 5-phenylhydantoin, etc. Compds. of formula II include compds. of formula III, formula IV, etc.</p> |
