PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having less tendency for generating a fog and a high sensitivity, and to prevent the influence of the another photographic characteristics by using the silver halide particle having a specific pAg for the titled material in the preparation or the after-step of the preparation of the silver halide. CONSTITUTION:The AgX particle having >= pAg 9.7 is used for the titled mate rial in the preparation or the after step of the preparation of the AgX. The AgX particle to be used is preferable to contain 0.1-10mol% mean silver iodide, and also is preferable to be unevenly distributed with the concentration of >=20mol% silver iodide in the inside of the AgX particle. The titled material having less tendency for generating a fog and a high sensitivity independent of the another photographic characteristics is obtd. by using the prescribed AgX. Thus, the shutter speed is increased, thereby enabling a high speed processing by using the titled material. |
