PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic film having superior characteristics by adding malate, tartrate and glycine as complexing agents for Co and Ni ions to an aqueous soln. contg. Co and Ni ions and a reducing agent for the metallic ions. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous soln. contg. 0.02-0.08mol/l (expressed in terms of Co ions) cobalt sulfate, 0.01-0.06mol/l (expressed in terms of Ni ions) nickel sulfate and 0.1-0.3mol/l sodium hypophosphite as a reducing agent for Co and Ni ions is prepd., and 0.2-0.8mol/l malate, 0.1-0.4mol/l glycine and 0.1-0.4mol/l tartrate as complexing agents for Co and Ni ions are added to the soln. The resulting soln. is adjusted to 8.8-9.8pH to obtain an electroless plating bath. |
