<p>A method is disclosed for changing label-magazine-boxes in labeling machines. An emptied label-box is replaced by a full box during the time in which consecutive removal elements arrive at the label removal station. An apparatus for carrying out the method includes at least two label-boxes adapted to be displaced or transported jointly upon a guide-path formed by rails, rods, tables, chains, or belts, in a direction at right angles to the stack of labels, and arranged side by side, at least the box located at the removal-position being adapted to move back and forth in relation to a removal element.</p> |
