PURPOSE:To permit an automatic both side copy when a recording paper is inserted manually, by disposing a paper re-feed device above a paper discharge unit. CONSTITUTION:When a copy key is depressed, a partition plate 29 moves to an intermediate position 29a so as to prepare a feeding of a paper sheet. Succeedingly, a picture formation is completed and a turned-round paper sheet 38a to be discharged to a paper discharge pass 25a is transferred to an intersecting discharged paper pass 28 so that it is contained in a paper re-feed unit 23. At the time the turned-round paper sheet 38a is discharged in parallel with a feeding of a recording paper sheet 38 to be inserted manually. Then, a separation possible craw 37a moves to have remaining manually inserted recording paper sheet 38 move to a location of separation belts 30a, 30b and a switching flapper 27 is turned off to prepare a re-feeding of the turned- round paper sheet 38a. Next, the separation possible craw 37a is turned on so that the separation belts 30a, 30b are driven for transferring the manually inserted paper sheet 38 which is to be re-fed for a both side copy and a manually inserted recording paper sheet 38 to which a both side copy has been completed is transferred and discharged to a paper discharge tray 26 through a paper discharge roller 25. |
