<p>PURPOSE:To correctly arrange the widths of recording sheets of every size by disposing a flexible portion integral with a paper width regulating plate, and sliding the flexible portion along the sliding surface of a paper feed cassette to be stopped at a set position. CONSTITUTION:If one of paper width regulating plates 13, 14 is moved inward, slide racks 21, 22 integral with the paper width regulating plates 13, 14 are mutually moved through a pinion 20, so that the paper width regulating plates 13, 14 are simultaneously moved for the same distance. At this time, a flexible projecting portion 21D of the left slide rack 21 is pressed to a rail portion 11J and slid, and a flexible projecting portion 22D of the right slide rack 22 is pressed to the rail 11H to produce a braking function. Accordingly, if one of the paper width regulating plates 13, 14 is operated by hands and stopped at a paper size position, the width of paper can be stably regulated without shifting by the braking function.</p> |
