<p>Extract of Swertia japonica Makino, which contains water-soluble and insoluble components, and methods of obtaining the same, are disclosed. The extract of Swertia japonica Makino comprises swertiamarin and oleanolic acid extracted from Swertia japonica Makino. The method of obtaining the extract comprises the step of extraction with 70 to 90 volume % ethanol aqueous solution of 6 to 20 times volume per weight of dried Swertia japonica Makino.</p> |
