摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain an optical coupler having high performance, by opening two recesses while spacing an enclosure made of an insulating material by using a partition wall, containing a light emitting element and a photodetector therein, conducting wire bonding, and then sealing the elements with transparent resins of convex lens shapes. CONSTITUTION:Holes for a light emitting element 4 and a photodetector 6 are opened by spacing by a partition wall 2 therebetween in a ceramic stem 1, the element 1 is die bonded on a mount 3 in one hole, and the photodetector 6 is die bonded on a mount 5 in the other hole. Then, after an electrode terminal provided on the element is bonded by wirings 7, and casting jigs 11, 13 having resin filling ports 13, 14 at the tops in convex lens shape on the surface above the two holes are coated on the tops. Thereafter, transparent epoxy resin 10 is filled from here to the holes, cured and the jigs 11, 13 are then removed as a reflecting light photocoupler having directivity.</p>
