The circuit includes as pulse distributor for generating two different pulse signals in response to the output signal from the flowmeter. The two signals have a predetermined frequency ratio to each other. Instantaneous flow-rate is calculated based on the frequency of the flowmeter output signal and a corresponding signal is produced. A compensation section identifies, in response to the calculator output, a specific compensation to which the calculated flow-rate belongs, and generates a signal indicative of the identified section.
