PURPOSE:To transfer a paper sheet to be fed and a paper sheet to be discharged stably without having them collide with each other, by providing transfer control means for restricting feeding of a paper sheet to a paper feed pass in response to an output state from a transfer sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a copy key is depressed in the condition that a plurality of manually inserted paper sheets 38 are set at a paper re-feed unit 23, a partition plate 29 moves to an intermediate position 29a so as to prepare a feeding of a paper sheet. At the time a switching flapper 27 is turned on in response to a command from a main control unit. Succeedingly, an image formation is completed and a turned-round paper sheet 38a to be discharged to a paper discharge pass 25a is transferred to an intersecting discharged paper pass 28 so that it is contained in the paper re-feed unit 23. At the time the turned-round paper sheet 38a is discharged in parallel with a feeding of a recording paper sheet 38 to be inserted manually. Then, a separation possible craw 37a moves to have remaining manually inserted recording paper sheet 38 move to a location of separation belts 30a, 30b and the switching flapper 27 is turned off so that a re-feed of the turned-round paper 38a from the paper re-feed unit 23 is prepared. |
