PURPOSE:To obtain desired service by operating a small number of specifying buttons and to improve the operability by providing a converting means which extracts specified function on the basis of button operation information from a subscriber telephone terminal equipment corresponding to the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The specifying button circuit 401 of a multifunctional telephone set 100 sends parallel codes of position information from respective buttons in series to a data transmission line 400 through an operation detecting and encoding circuit 402 which encodes positions of the buttons and a parallel/series converting circuit 403, and the register 411 of an interface circuit 110 stores them temporarily. A specified function converting means 111 allows a code detecting circuit 422 to reads and transfers the output of the register 411 to a specified function converting circuit 423, and also sends an indication to a gate circuit 421 to open a gate for the output of the converting circuit 423. The converting circuit 423 cooperates with a processor and a storage circuit stored with information shown in a correspondence table (a) to convert position code information of a specifying button 401 into function code information that a central controller 130 processes. |
