PURPOSE:To enable the stable and efficient culture of a microbial strain belonging to Bordetella genus, by using a medium containing specific amounts of casamino acid, ascorbic acid, etc. CONSTITUTION:A microbial strain belonging to Bordetella genus such as Bordetella pertussis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, etc., is detected and/or cultured by using a medium obtained by adding 0.1-20g/l of casamino acid, 0.01-1g/l of ascorbic acid, 0.1g/l of glutathione and 0.001-5g/l of cyclodextrin or its derivative to conventional medium such as SS medium, SSA medium, etc. |
