LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CASTINGS, PARTICULARLY BY COUNTER-PRESSURE CASTING ( ) A line for the production of castings which comprises several functionally and kinematically interconnected units: a turntable machine on the table of which there are mounted units for casting under counter-pressure in casting moulds, and sealed chambers, in which there are disposed crucibles with molten metal, each casting mould being provided with a device for displacing and closing it. Outside the turntable machine there are disposed metering devices with pouring spouts, and the units for counterpressure casting comprise movable sealed chambers for molten metal, and between the pouring spouts or close to one of them there is mounted a device for checking the level of the molten metal in the respective sealed chamber. In the position of the turntable machine for removal of the casting there is installed a device for the removal of the casting.
