<p>PURPOSE:To carry out the cell culture in extremely high efficiency while keeping the function of the cell in good state, by using a low-density lipoprotein of yolk as a cell-culture additive substituting blood serum. CONSTITUTION:A low-density lipoprotein of yolk produced by conventional method for the fractionation of lipoprotein and having a specific gravity of preferably 0.93-1.08, especially about 0.93-1.04 is used as a cell-culture additive. 1ml of the base medium such as CEM medium, CMRL-1066 medium, etc., is added with 0.01mug-1mg, preferably 0.1-500mug of the additive in terms of the yolk low-density lipoprotein triglyceride.</p> |
