PURPOSE:To prevent completely leak of a developer from both end parts of a carrier by arranging formed materials of elastic bodies, which have a plane shape corresponding to an outline shape formed with the carrier, a regulating member, and a hopper member, on both end parts of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:Formed materials 7a and 7b of elastic bodies which have a plane shape corresponding to the outline shape formed with a carrier 2, a regulating member 4, and a hopper member 6 are arranged. Since these elastic formed materials 7a and 7b are brought closely into contact with all the corners of individual end parts, leak of a developer 1 from both end parts of the carrier 2 is prevented completely. Even if the regulating member 4 is deformed somewhat because of change of the rotative velocity of the carrier 2, formed materials 7a and 7b of elastic bodies are deformed in accordance with this deformation to follow up deviation of the regulating member 4, and leak of the developer 1 is prevented completely. Formed materials of a silicone resin hardened at a normal temperature are most suitable as formed materials 7a and 7b of elastic bodies. |
