摘要 PURPOSE:To secure the output power of a Diesel while suppressing the generation of smoke in the exhaust gas of the engine, by controlling the fuel injection quantity from an injection pump, according to the running condition of the engine, and the exact intake quantity thereof, within the range of maximum fuel injection quantity. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection quantity control circuit 30 receives the detection signals of an accelerator operated quantity sensor 10 and an intake quantity sensor 5 through an A/D converter 105, receives the rotational frequency signal of a rotational frequency sensor 24 through a counter 104, and uses a RAM101 and a ROM102 to calculate a maximum injection quantity and a basic injection quantity and compare them with each other to perform a processing in which the smaller injection quantity is used as an aimed value. The smaller injection quantity is applied as analog voltage signal to a positioning servo circuit 107, which sends out a controlling drive signal to a linear solenoid 21 so that the signal of the actual position of a spill ring 19 corresponds to a position instructed by the analog signal of the aimed value. The position of the spill ring 19 is thus controlled. As a result, the quantity of overflow of fuel from a spill port 18 is regulated to optimize the injected quantity of the fuel depending on the running condition of a Diesel engine.
