PURPOSE:To prevent mismatching of a KANA (Japanese syllabary) display by indicating the last character of reading by a special symbol determined in advance within a length of an object KANJI (Chinese character) part, etc., in case of the number of characters exceeding a length of a reading object KANJI part, etc. CONSTITUTION:Both read-out of a word which becomes a candidate example obtained from a converting dictionary and a corresponding KANJI are stored in a word extracting path 3. A conversion control part 7 checks whether it is in a reading display mode or not, in case of sending a data of a candidate example to an output control part 5. In case that KANA per one KANJI exceeds two pieces (>= three pieces), KANA of the first one character and a special symbol ''.'' are made to form a pair and sent to the outut control part 5, as shown by ''ki.'' and ''chi.'' corresponding to KANJI ''kyo'' (ki-yo) and KANJI ''cho'' (chi- yo), with regard to KANA exceeding two pieces by a control of a reading addition control part 4. |
