PURPOSE:To heighten the productivity considerably by clamping and conveying a pair of works facing in the opposite directions with cooperation of a pressing dog and a receive dog and forming a notch and a fitting hole for engagement on the paired works at once by machining. CONSTITUTION:By a driven and moved pressing dog 4 of an endless driving conveyer 5 and a freely movable receive dog 7 of an endless driven conveyer 8, a pair of works 1 carried facing in the opposite directions are clamped and conveyed, and the paired works 1 are positioned by a work holding device 9. Notches and fitting holes for engagement are formed on the positioned pair of works 1 at once by a machining device 10 (e.g. horizontal cutter, vertical cutter), and then the machined pair of works 1 are kicked out forward in the transport direction by a kick-out device 11. |
