PURPOSE:To enhance the accelerating property of an engine, by judging from the instantaneous value and changing state of the load on the engine whether or not the engine is in a high-output run range. CONSTITUTION:The load on an engine is found out by an engine load detection means 23. The duration, for which the load on the engine is higher than a first prescribed level and lower than a second prescribed level and which is not longer than a prescribed maximum time, is measured by a time measuring means 28. The time, which has passed since the engine load became equal to or lower than the first prescribed level, is subtracted from said duration by the time measuring means 28. When the engine load is higher than the first prescribed level and lower than the second prescribed level, it is judged by an output run judgment means 27 from the output of the time measuring means 28 whether or not the engine is in a high-output run range. This leads to the improvement of the accelerating property of the engine. |
