<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus reduced in the number of blowers, by arranging a means for generating an air stream in a room and providing electric dust collectors so as to interpose the above-mentioned air stream generating means at an open space. CONSTITUTION:Blowers 11 are arranged at two places in a room 16, and electric precipitators 1 are arranged at four places so as to be respectively opposed to the air suction ports 12 and air blow-off ports of said blowers 11 through open spaces 14 to constitute a room air purifying apparatus. Because the air streams 15 generated by the blowers 11 are recirculated in the room and successively passed through the electric dust collectors 1 during recirculation to be purified, the treating wind amount necessary for the purification of air in the room is sufficiently obtained. Further, because the number of the electric dust collectors 1 can be smaller than the number of the blowers 11, the noise reduction and energy conservation of the air purifying apparatus can be attained. Because air streams 17 from other parts are also flowed in the room 16, room air can be uniformly purified.</p> |
