Enteric coating soln. was obtd. by dissoln. (or dispersion) of alk. metal acid-salts(acid dissociation const., pKa, is up 3 at 25≦̸C) and water-insoluble oxycarbonic acid-type cellulose derivs. (as major constits.) in water or alcoholic aq. soln. (below 20 wt.% of C1-3 lower alcohol content). Cellulose derivs. are i.e. carboxy alkyl methyl cellulose(C1-5 alkyl) or carboxy alkyl ethyl cellulose dispersed by 5-30 wt.% to prepg. liquid.
