<p>PURPOSE:To attain the safe operation of a plant and to improve reliability by building up a supporting system provided with a hierarchical diagnostic function when the plant develops abnormalities, a running operation judging function and a equipment control function through the use of a knowledge base system. CONSTITUTION:A plant process signal enters an input signal processing system 1, where the validity of said signal and the normalicy or abnormality of a sensor are checked. Said signal is stored on a common data base 2 as a process data 3. According to the process data 3, a plant monitor system 5 monitors the plant. When an abnormal system is found, a system diagnostic system 6 makes a diagnosis of the abnormal system at each system unit, and finds the causes of the abnormality. There is a detail diagnosis system 7 to find the causes of the abnormality in detail. Based on such a result, a running operation judging system 8 judges the running operation with the aid of the process data 3 and the knowledge base 4 regarding the operation.</p> |
