PURPOSE:To provide a photoreceptive member having excellent durability and moisture resistance without having residual potential by specifying the material of a photoreceptive layer consisting of two layers to be provided on a base having a smooth rugged shape. CONSTITUTION:This photoreceptive member has the 1st layer 102 and the 2nd layer 103 along the slopes of the ruggedness on the base 101 having the very small smooth rugged shape. The 1st layer 102 in this case is constituted of a-Si(H, X) or a-Si(H, X) contg. at least one kind selected from oxygen atoms, carbon atoms and nitrogen atoms. The 2nd layer 103 is also constituted of an amorphous material contg. silicon atoms and atoms selected from oxygen atoms and nitrogen atoms and not contained in the 1st layer 102 as well as at least either of hydrogen atoms and halogen atoms, i.e., a-Si(O, N) (H, X). |
