PURPOSE:To make it possible to hold a stable electrical contact state with high reliability in a high temp. atmosphere, by using a conductive heat resistance powder in combination with a heat resistant spring material used therein. CONSTITUTION:Because a solid electrolyte 2 outside a metal casing 4 is inserted into a combustion atmosphere, temp. distribution, such that a ceramic adhesive 10 reaches max. 900 deg.C and the part of a graphite powder 5 is heated to max. 400 deg.C, is established. Because the creep strength of a spring material 11 comprising a material SUS631 used herein is 30kg/mm.<2> at 430 deg.C, spring force is sufficiently held and electrical contact can be realized. Further, because the powder 5 is always pressed by spring force even if the graphite powder 5 is interposed between the spring material 11 and an outer surface electrode 1, and the spring material 11 and the inner surface of the metal casing 4, the lowering in the surface pressure of the electrical contact part caused by the microscopic oxidative consumption of the graphite powder 5 in a high temp. oxidative atmosphere over a long time is prevented and stable contact resistance is shown. |
