<p>PURPOSE:To enable a winker to be canceled with a simple device by providing a supersonic sensor for detecting an amount corresponding to a banking angle during cornering in a vehicle such as motor cycle to judge the completion of cornering by utilizing the change in the banking angle. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 7 in the traveling of a vehicle exceeds a specified speed, a supersonic sensor 12 is activated so that a distance between the supersonic sensor 12 and a road surface in straight drive is measured and memorized. Next, when a driver turns on a winker switch 21 and starts to turn the vehicle right for example, a switch 28 is turned on and the R side winker lamps 23a, 23b are turned on and off. And in the beginning of cornering, a banking angle theta increases and a distance lc between a road surface and the vehicle increases. When 1lc-ls1 continues for a specified time or more to exceed a predetermined value, it is considered to be during cornering and memorized. Thereafter, when the vehicle returns again to the straight drive condition, 1lc-ls1 is reduced and a canceling signal is generated to turn off the switch 28.</p> |
