<p>PURPOSE:To aim at automating the selection and supply of several kinds of parts in accordance with kinds of vehicles, by providing such an arrangement that a part select means having received a data of the kind of a vehicle on an assembly line, issues a part select instruction to a storage rack control means to send out a necessary part after the latter being selected. CONSTITUTION:A data input of the kind of a vehicle read by an information reader 10 is transmitted and stored in to a RAM 13 through an I/O port 11. Then a CPU 12 checks the identity of the kind of the vehicle stored in the RAM 13 with data of kinds I through III of vehicles stored in a ROM, and selects one I of the three kinds. Then, the CPU selects a part required for the inputted kind of the vehicle, and the associated one of racks 2 and issues a part select instruction, and therefore, a storage rack control means 15 having received the select instruction, issues a control signal for driving the required part and a tact conveyer 16 arranged in the storage rack 2. Further, each tact conveyer 16 having received the control signal feeds out the part onto a part table laid adjacent to the storage rack. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent errors in assembly due to errors in part-picking, and therefore, to aim at enhancing the quality of the products.</p> |
