PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in image quality and obtain units of a compact size by arranging a sleeve and a sensitive body with a clearance in between and by flocking on the sleeve linear materials having a length smaller than said clearance and almost identical conductivity to the two-component developing agent. CONSTITUTION:Linear materials 7 to be flocked on the sleeve 5 are made of a synthetic resin such as polyethylene blended with carbon and metallic powder, with a particle size of 0.2mmphi for example, so that they have a similar conductivity to that of two-component developing agent in a normal condition, for instance 3X10<8>OMEGA. Those materials are flocked over the entire outer circumference of the sleeve 5 using an adhesive 13 having a similar conductivity to the linear materials 7. The length l2 of the linear materials 7 is for example 1.5-5mm, and so determined to satisfy the relationship l1/l2=2/1-4/3. In this way, contact between the sensitive body 1 and the magnetized brush is assured across a width M enough for development, preventing decrease in conductivity across the sleeve 5 and the photosensitive body at the same time. |
