PURPOSE:To provide a metallic pattern which improves the ease of an operation for exchanging a mesh plate in a metallic pattern for a shell mold method by providing freely attachably and detachably a template which has apertures communicating with the air vent holes of a metallic pattern frame and is extended with a mesh plate to said pattern. CONSTITUTION:The metallic pattern frame 1 having a surface 2 formed to an approximately recessed shape corresponding to the bored core of, for example, a cylinder block has the many air vent holes 3. The template 8 made of a sheet metal having the surface 9 formed to the recessed shape corresponding to said core has the many apertures 13 communicating with the holes 3. A sheet of the mesh plate 11 is extended over the entire rear side of the template 8 to cover all the holes 13. Such template 8 is freely attachably and detachably mounted to the surface 2 of the frame 1 by using belleville screws to constitute the metallic pattern for molding the casting mold. The integral exchange of the mesh plate 1 and the template 8 is made possible when the mesh plate is clogged and the ease of the exchange operation is improved. |
