POLYESTER-BASED PROCESSING AGENT

PURPOSE:To obtain titled agent of outstanding stain proofness, highly resistant to pulling out, by copolymerization between polyethylene glycol and polyester segment containing, in its acid components, ester-forming sulfonic acid alkali metal salt compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent consisting of polyesterether copolymer obtained by copolymerization between (A) polyester segment made up of (i) 30- 50mol%, based on the whole acid components, of ester-forming sulfonic acid alkali metal salt compound, (ii) 70-50mol%, based on the whole acid components, of terephthalic and/or isophthalic acid(s) [or these (its) ester-forming derivative(s)] and (iii) >=50mol% based on the whole glycol components, of ethylene glycol and/or 1,4-butanediol and (B) polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight 800-3,000. This agent contains 12-20wt% of the component (B).
