PURPOSE:To prevent air breaking sound from being generated, by forming a weather strip disposed between a door opening edge and a door edge such that the body of the weather strip is deformed when a door is closed, and therefore, lips projected from the body is rotated to about against the outside of the door edge. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 9 disposed between the opening edge7a of a door opening 7 in one side surface of a vehicle body 2, and the edge of a door 8 has a cylindrical weather strip body 19 which is attached along the door opening edge 7a. Further, there are provided first and second lips 20, 21, the first lip 20 being projected from the outboard side surface of the weather strip body 19 toward the outside of the vehicle body 2 and the second lip being projected from the outboard side surface of the body 19 and being made into resilient contact with the outer surface of the door opening edge 7a. Further, when the door is closed, the above-mentioned body 19 is pressed toward the inboard side of the vehicle body 2 by means of a door window frame 14, and is therefore resiliently deformed so that the first lip 20 is rotated downward about a base section 20a to be made into contact with the window frame 14 so that the lips cover the joint seam between the door opening edge 7a and the door window frame 14. |
