PURPOSE:To provide a photoreceptive member having excellent durability and moisture resistance without having residual potential by providing a photoreceptive layer consisting of two layers on a base having a smooth rugged shape. CONSTITUTION:This photoreceptive member has the photoreceptive layer 100 provided with the 1st layer 102 and the 2nd layer 103 along the slopes of the ruggedness on the base 101 having the very small smooth rugged shape. More specifically, this photoreceptive member is formed by laminating the photoreceptive layer 102 which is constituted of an amorphous material essentially consisting of silicon atoms, contg. germanium atoms or/and tin atoms and further hydrogen atoms or/and halogen atoms as necessary and has photoconductivity on the base 101. The photoreceptive layer has a free surface 103 at one end face. |
