PRODUCTION OF MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the dispersibility of magnetic particles and to obtain the title recording medium having excellent electromagnetic transducing characteristics by adhering the ferromagnetic fine particles to the particles of a binder resin with mechanochemical force. CONSTITUTION:Ferromagnetic fine particles having <=0.4mum particle diameter and the particles of a binder resin having >=10m<2>/g specific surface are directly mixed without using any solvent and the ferromagnetic fine particles are adhered to the surfaces of the binder resin particles with mechanochemical force. Consequently, the ferromagnetic fine particles are firmly combined with the resin particles and the dispersibility is remarkably improved. Accordingly, a magnetic recording medium having an excellent electromagnetic transducing characteristic can be obtained by using the magnetic paint using the mechanochemical mixture.
