The invention relates to a device allowing, by dissuasion, the theft of car radios to be made impossible. It comprises four flasks 1 arranged in a square on a chassis 2 fixed into the casing 3 at the level of the electric circuit. They contain acid or mercury. They are inclined at an angle of more or less 35 degrees with respect to the base of the casing. During transportation and mounting, they are hermetically plugged 4. A cord 5 connects them to the orifice 6 made in the facade of the casing 9, which cord extends beyond the facade of the casing so as to be able to be withdrawn once the car radio has been installed. In order to take the car radio, the thief will have to incline it by an angle which is much greater than that of the device which he will have to disengage from two hooks 7. The contents will flow out onto the circuit via a small duct 8 and will be destroyed. The dissuasion effect of the device according to the invention is obtained by drawing attention to its presence. <IMAGE>
