Device intended to protect people using needles for medicinal injections. The invention relates to a device allowing the user to be protected against pricks by needles which have been used and risk being contaminated, by virtue of a corolla-shaped device 3, covering the fingers, and a conical cavity 4 allowing the needle to be guided into its sheath. This device consists of a body 1 drilled at its centre with a hole 5 blocked by the piece 2. Pressure on the trigger 8, acting against the force of the spring 9 fixed by rivets 7 onto the body 1 and the piece 2, allows displacement of the latter as well as alignment of the holes 5 and 6; the sheath may then pass, it being automatically trapped when the trigger 8 is released. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for medical and paramedical personnel. <IMAGE>
