PURPOSE:To enhance a color forming property, raw preservability and the stability of developed color image, in a recording material utilizing a phenome non forming a color upon the contact of a achromatic dye with an electron acceptable compound, by using a specific fluorane derivative as the achromatic dye. CONSTITUTION:As a achromatic dye, a fluorane derivative, which has a halogen atom at the 3-position thereof and an amine residue at the 6-position thereof and of which phthalide part is substituted with a halogen atom, is used. By this method, developed color density and color forming sensitivity are improved and the generation of fog is suppressed and the fastness of a developed color material after color development can be enhanced. |
