In order to mix fuel gas and air well in the front part of the combustion chamber prior to final combustion, the motor (1) is equipped with a special mixing zone. Air and fuel gas are fed to this zone. The mixing zone is limited at the front by a wall (3) in which one or more apertures (4) for air are provided. These apertures give the air a movement component in the direction of rotation around the longitudinal axis of the motor so that the total amount of air is given a screwline movement. At the back, the zone is limited by a wall (9) which lies in a right-angled cross-section to the longitudinal axis of the motor, and extends from the cover surface inwards, leaving a central hole. |
