The invention relates to a building block intended for the construction of buildings which are to be used for residential or other purposes. It relates to modular elements which are superimposed, juxtaposed and dry-fitted mechanically, vertically and laterally inside each other. It comprises, for the buildings to be used for residential purposes, a load-bearing cellular concrete monobloc casting inside which a thermal insulating material is placed.
