PURPOSE:To discharge a developer without any troublesome operation and to prevent it from scattering out by blocking the discharge operating at the bottom part of a developer container which is semicircularly sectioned with a shutter which is held by an elastic holding member. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a cylindrical body 4 which has the slit opening 3 in the bottom wall 2 are covered with caps and supported slidably, the shutter 11 which closes the opening 3 is fixed to the cylindrical body 3 with plate rubber belts 13 provided at both lengthwise ends, and a plate type lever 14 is formed on the opposite side of the plate rubber belts 13. When a cartridge 1 is pressed down abutting on the upper edge 25 of a supply port, the shutter 11 whose one side is stopped by a lever 14 moves by the expansion of the rubber 13 to open the opening 3, so toner 15 is thrown in a storage chamber 26. Thus, the developer is supplied without any troublesome operation and prevented from scattering out. |
