A ski boot comprises a front-foot heel shell and an ankle cuff with a cuff front part. The cuff front part is supported elastically on the front-foot heel shell by a support device. The support device comprises support surfaces on the cuff front part and on the front foot heel shell. One of the support surfaces is deflectable. The support surfaces have such a contour that the contact region of the support surfaces is, with increasing forward lean, displaced increasingly towards the vertical longitudinal central plane of the ski boot and a progressive forward lean resistance is generated.
