A pallet for conical or truncated pyramidal containers consisting of a flat panel and conical or truncated pyramidal receiving recesses formed in the panel which are arranged in rows and columns. The technical problem of the invention is to construct a pallet in such a way that conical containers with mutually overlapping end edges can be accommodated on the pallet in order thus to utilise the surface of the pallet to the greatest extent possible. The bottom walls (6, 7) of adjacent receiving recesses (3, 4) are arranged at various distances from the panel (2). <IMAGE>
