PURPOSE:To prepare a molding composition having excellent moldability and fabrication quality and free from surface bleeding, foreign odor, etc., without lowering the characteristics of the saponified copolymer, by compounding a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a specific low-molecular weight polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 parts by weight of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with an ethylene content of 15-90 mole %, preferably of 15-55 mole % and a saponification degree of vinyl acetate >=70 mole %, preferably >=90 mole %, is mixed with (B) 0.01-5, preferably 0.05-2 parts by weight of a low-molecular weight polyolefin having a molecular weight of 500-10,000, preferably of 1,000 -8,000, by means of a Henschel mixer, etc. Coextrusion of the composition layer with an other thermoplastic resin layer gives increased adhesive strength between them.
