PURPOSE:To obtain the titled foam which has excellent sealing properties, elasticity and resistance to exudation and does not cause the formation of fine particle impurities, consisting of a melt-moldable fluororesin having specified viscoelasticity and making a uniform foam having a limited inorg. compd. content. CONSTITUTION:A fluororesin foam consists of a melt-moldable fluororesin having a melt flow rate of 0.5-6g/10min, and has an inorg. compd. content of less than 0.1wt% and a uniform foam structure. The fluororesin foam can be obtd. by expanding an expandable resin compsn. consisting of said melt- moldable fluororesin having a melt flow rate of 0.5-6g/10min and a solubility parameter (deltap) and a volatile org. compd. having an MW of 140 or above and a solubility parameter (deltaB) in the relationship of deltaB<=deltap+1.5 under heating. |
