Method for producing a counter-toothing by means of drivers, of any desired shape, of a toothing by means of reshaping or cutting processing methods, a synchronous relative rolling movement which corresponds exactly to the desired transmission ratios being brought about between the two toothings. The method is particularly suitable, in an advantageous fashion, for a rolling spark-erosion method. Both the geometry of the respective drivers and the planar or spatial form of the roller lines can be completely freely selected, a linear engagement of the generating toothing with the generated counter-toothing being continuously maintained.
