In order to achieve, in a device for holding tubular lamp parts, which are to be painted, for automatic paint-spray installations, consisting of a vertically arranged holder which can be moved in rotation and translation by means of a drive, secure holding without impeding the painting, it is proposed that, on the holder (2), a clamping part (3) is fixed which extends essentially in a straight line and has approximately the shape of a rod, and that the clamping part (3) has spring-loaded brackets (5) which extend essentially transversely to its longitudinal direction, can be gripped by a shaped article (1) and can at the same time be pretensioned. <IMAGE>
