PURPOSE:To detect the surface temperature of a photosensitive body accurately and to perform temperature control by exposing a temperature sensing part in the gap between the interla flank of the photosensitive body and a cylindrical heat generating body and fitting a temperature sensing element. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical plate type heat generating body 3 is provided at the inside of the photosensitive body 2 while the gap 5 is left, and the temperature sensing part 1a is exposed to a fitting member 7 at part of the base material 4 of the heat generating body 3 across a buffer member 6 to fit the temperature sensing element 1. The temperature sensing part 1a is pressed against the internal surface of the photosensitive body by the elasticity of th member 6 and the temperature of the entire periphery is detected directly as the photosensitive body rotates, so temperature control is performed accurately and speedily. |
